aims

i. to explore the potential uses of electronic technology for expressive musical purposes in live performance - in real-time interaction with the acoustic sounds of instrumentalists and singers, with dance, video and other media working with creative artists in other disciplines towards a new, accessible electronic music theatre.

Commissions to composers, choreographers, electronic and other interested creative artists - Collaborative development of multi-disciplinary performance pieces - Exploration of new hardware and software for interactive real-time performance - Performances to audiences from a wide range of backgrounds.

ii. to share the dicoveries and results of these explorations with students of all ages and abilities - promoting the practise, teaching and economics of music making throughout formal, informal and special education - offering new possibilities of developing a discriminating, musical ear - extending, enriching and empowering creativity for all.

Hands-on workshops for all ages and abilities, in conjunction with performances - Residential and day courses and workshops in electronic music technology for teachers, therapists, carers and others working in mainstream and special education.
