ELEKTRODOME's
performances explore new modes of interaction between music, movement
and image in live performance - using the shared language of electronics
to break down the barriers between them. The sounds and movements of
the performers help to control electronic transformations of the projected
coluors, movements, images and shapes - a kind of synaesthesia in which
the dancers, movements inspire images which can also, partly be 'played'
by the musicians.

Elektrodome
commissions new inter-disciplinary pieces from composers, writers, choreographers,
video artists and others, and supports and co-ordinates their collaborative
development, production and performance, while continuing to explore
a variety of electronic live performance, techniques. Many of the pieces
we perform are specially commissioned, but we also plan to present pieces
from existing repertoire which use voices/or instruments with live electronics,
dance and video.
